hey all you area nine interactors!!
Thank you to those of you who attended PWR! I hope you were all inspired and can bring back all the things you learned to your club!! :)

Here are the updates YOU need to know about most :)
1) Sobrato, Live Oak, Oakwood, Gilroy, Christopher, and San Benito are starting cookie dough fundraisers the week of the 22-26. 40% of whatever you make of this fundraiser will be going to End Polio Now! That's right...if your school is able to sell $4,000 worth of items, you school will get $1,600 to go to End Polio Now! 1,600 X 6 schools= $9,600 :))))
It is a great easy fundraiser! Make sure to get out there and SELL SELL SELL! :)
Note- There are seperate kick-off and turn in days for each school...so make sure to listen up to see when yours is! :)

2) Sobrato High School is having a Jamba Juice Fundraiser on March 5th...be sure to get your flyer from your Sobrato Interact Officer or get it off of the facebook group!!

PWR
Are you interested in becoming a president? Are you currently a president? Are you an enthusiastic member who wantes to make a difference in the world and be inspired?? If you answered YES to any of these questions...then PWR is for you!

What? President's Winter Retreat
Who? Current Presidents and Upcoming Presidents
Where? Camp Campbell in Boulder Creek California
When? February 6 and 7, 2010! (It is an overnight retreat)
Cost? 85 dollars! but ask your sponsoring rotary club for help to support the cost :)
*Ask your club president for more information and the required forms! SEND IN ASAP! :)


Money Turn in Date
The first money deadline is quickly approaching!
It is on January 29th, 2010!
but remember...it is always better to turn in money as you get it :)
o and make sure to turn it in with the money submittal form that can be found on this website!


UC BERKLEY SLEEPOVER
There will be a UC Berkley sleepover for anyone in Interact that is interested! It will be on March 27th!

Hey!! Lots of updates for you guys!!
First here are updates from all of the schools,

School Updates!

Sobrato-Sending in Hydraid money from last year. Also, entering a tree designing competition (at both Sobrato and a Rotary sponsored competition), where the winner gets $! So lets all hope that they have the best tree!

Live Oak- Completed a work team earning them $200! Also they are earning money from working at the Tast of Morgan Hill

Central- Had a great attendance at the Wheelchair marathon and continue to be executing of fundraisers!

Oakwood- Working on getting several leadership projects underway. Starting a coin drive in order to raise money for End Polio Now. Also in December going to sell Hot Chocolate at their school!

San Benito- Raised a staggering, 110 BAGS OF CANS in their trick-or-treat for cans which all got donated to Community Pantry. Purple-Pinkie Project is happening soon as well!!

Gilroy- Created AMAZING t-shirts! Also doing a Poinsetta's fundraiser in December
