Who: YOU, Interactors, PWR-KIDS(Do I smell an reunion?!) and ANYONE out there who wants to relieve their stress, or just want a night out with the greatest people in the world, and if you're like me, and you end up not going to your Sadies, this is the place where you could meet your date for next years'!
What: A Benefit Dance that Area 678 is putting together to raise funds for our District 5170 International Project, END POLIO NOW!!!!!
Tickets are sold in Advanced for $10, and at the door for $15, the attire is Semi-Formal, just cause I know you girls go gaga over those guys in those vests, and guys, you know what what dresses do to man, they make hearts skip beats <3

It's called the President's Winter Retreat, and there will be Interactors from all over our District, attending out leadership workshops to exemplify, amplify, and magnify THAT leader hiding in you.
The workshop will be held at
YMCA Camp Campbell

Boulder Creek, CA 95006
We would love to have all of you incoming, and current club presidents to attend, to show and guide you towards a successful future in your club!
The cost of this wonderful leadership event is $85, but those of you in Area 6, may have to only pay $40 because of our sponsoring and supporting Rotarians.

On behalf of Area 6 of District 5170, I would like to send a special invitation to you to attend our Area 6, Annual Charity Dinner, this year, named, Don't Stop Believin'!
Since you're already stopping by this page and reading this invitation line by line, how do I know you ask? Cause I know you're just DYING for me to spill about where and when this Charity Dinner is taking place!!
I don't want to keep you waiting too long so i'll start by telling you that the date will be on a lovely Saturday evening, on January 23rd, 2010 at 6:30-9:30. I mean, why not start off this new year, by NOT staying at home playing video games, by NOT going out to the mall just window shopping with your friends and family, and oh please, I hope you're NOT doing any of that english essay ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!!?

Starting off with this Saturday, November 21st, ,We are hosting a fundraiser at Edgies Billiard, which is located on :

Milpitas, 95035
The price per person is $7, and it is UNLIMITED pool playing, from 6 PM - 12 AM!
So all of you guys finding somewhere to hang out and meet new people, learning and playing the game of billiards, COME OUT THIS SATURDAY EVENING and support AREA 6's Edgies Fundraiser! We have 11 tables reserved just for us, so come out and show that 8 ball who's boss!
We are also recieving all profits which will be funding towards EPN!
SECOND, we have a Pizza California restaurant fundraiser this Sunday, November 22nd, that is occuring all day, we will be recieiving 25% of the total bill of each customer, so make sure you come out and have some delicious, juicy, cheesy-stuffed crust, pizza with all of your friends and family this Sunday! A lot of Interactors have already RSVP'ed to this event, so make sure you stop by and meet up with the BEST kind of people out there, you Interactors!

But that's right folks, FLC! District 5170's annual and traditional Fall Leadership Conference is right around the corner. FLC is basically the best thing in the world for ANY members connected with Interact Club. We break down into different groups, that will teach you how to become a better leader, how to change the world, that's definately changing you, and most importantly, the 1-2-3 steps on how to become one of the best Interactors, part of the BEST Interact Club District in the entire WORLD, that's right ladies & gentlemen, you know darn right you can NOT miss out on this once in a year opportunity. Sounds life-changing doesn't it?
But hey, don't take it from me, just look at all the amazing leaders we already have that came in just as general members like you, and came out as strong leaders in Interact Club, as Board and Officers.
I can honestly say, cross my heart, that FLC will definately leave your mind with a wonder of how much One Person, yes only One, can change the world.
So I, Jak Ngo, the Area 6 Representative/Director, am more than proud to present that this year, we are.. you guys ready for this? I mean, it's going to blow your minds away, I know it, so hold onto your seats, keep your eyes glued onto your monitor, and pause all music and AIM chats for this magical moment, I am proud to present that our Area, Area 6, will be representing in flying colors, the PURPLE PLATINUM PENGUINS!!
That's right, we'll be chilling out there on FLC, cause you know what, Area 6, has just got it going on!
But back to serious business!
Registration is due by the 2nd of October. It is a $10 fee that will include your lunch, and the great, PROFESSIONAL leadership breakouts the best leaders in Interact will provide. Along with that,we will also be selling 3 LEGIT additional "Area 6 Gear" for $3, that is on the down-low FOR NOW, just because it's going to be THAT good, ya dig? So at the meetings, just talk to the Presidents, or the Officers, and we'll hook you up!
We'll be giving out details during our General Meetings, as well as accepting registrations, so make sure you come up, feel free to ask any questions at all concerning FLC and how AREA 6 is going to DOMINATE that day!
Yeah, two schools, Independence High School & PHHS, but trust me, last year, we raised over 1/8th of the money towards Hydraid, so let's represent, show them what Area 6 Interact is ALL ABOUT, and make the best of every experience and opportunity we have this year!
The event will take place on the 18th of October, from 8:45 to 3:15, for members who attend, we will give 4 additional hours. Tell me that's not the best deal you've ever seen?!
so let's review,
1. You get to learn the best leadership skills that Interact Club has to offer.
2. You get 4 additional community service hours towards your semester.
3. You meet the BEST people in the world, meet new, and fun people, and don't even get me started with how many Facebook friends request you'll start getting after FLC.

4. You remember Hydraid right? Now get ready to say hello to our 2010 International Project that Interact Club will be part of this year!
5. You meet the District Council & meet the Rotarians that make our District, District 5170, the most life-changing, one out of a million, District in the WORLD! We believe the Impossible is more than possible.
6. You come out, and represent the BEST Area out on District 5170, in PURPLE! so let's give it up for AREA 6! We're going to be so fly, that all the other schools and areas out there are going to be wondering why these Penguins are flying!
So c'mon guys, Once in a year, and I tell you, just coming out to FLC, will change your entire view on what Interact Club has to offer you as an individual, as a leader, and of course, as an Interactor.
