Our area bonding has been confirmed to be on April 11th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM!!!
We're going to have a picnic at Nelson Park.

03/22: 3/21/10 Meeting
Thanks for everyone that came to the meeting!!! Here is what we went over:
1. Money!!!- Please turn in all that you have raised so far by April 2nd!!!!
2. Spring Sendoff!!!! This will be the last major event for the District, so pump up your clubs!!!!! It is on May 15th at Great America!! The fee is $35!!
3. The Cruise!! - I will need registration forms and money from clubs by April 3rd @ 10:00 PM!!!
4. Shirts- You can still buy END POLIO NOW shirts!!! - fill out registration forms and mail those in!!
5. Area Recognition - Please turn in info about Interactor of the year (by March 30th>) and projects (by April 16th)

03/08: 2/28 Meeting!!
Here is what to remember from last week's meeting:
1) Area/money updates!!! Everyone made monetary goals at the start of the year!! Please keep these goals in mind as you continue through the year!!! The next Area Update is due MARCH 15th by 5:00 PM!!!! Also, there is a money deadline date is April 2nd- I strongly advise that you turn in your money then!!
2) We are making a yearbook for DC, so we need LOTS of pictures!!!!! So, please talk to your historians and send me all pictures taken by your clubs by THIS FRIDAY!!!!! (March 12th!!!!)
3) We have been contacted by the bay Area Garden Railway Society. They would like a bit of publicity for their event! It is a great cause so if you can forward the attached flier to everyone you know (ESPECIALLY your ROTARY CLUBS) that would be fantastic!
4) The deadline for cruise registration is MARCH 18th!!!! Please fill out the form ASAP. The cruise is a lot of fun so get your tickets!!!
5) Applications for District Council Positions are available!! If you are interested in being a DC member next year, please let me know so I can send you the information! Also, on March 20th, there is an open meeting (So, anyone interested in being in DC can come and see how a real DC meeting is run)- let me know if you are interested in coming with me!
6) By March 30th, I need to have an "interactor of the year" from each school. Along with a name, I would like some stats (like hrs.) and why they were chosen as Interactor of the year
7) We will be having an area bonding April 11th!!! It will be a picnic at Nelson Park!!! - more details TBA!!!
8) Our next meeting is March 21st!!! This is a TWO WEEK notice so there should be not excuses for attendance!!

PWR is coming up!!! We were able to hear experiences from the officers that went last year! Don't forget that registration is due THIS Friday!!!!
For Merchandise, please don't forget to turn your lanyard money in!! Also, I still have some Polio books if any school would like some!
The cruise information was sent out! It is a really FUN experience and a great way to motivate interactors!!!
